Veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri is celebrating his birthday in a unique way, choosing prayer, charity and thanksgiving over a conventional birthday party.
The actor, who turned a year older today, announced his plans in a social media post, where he expressed gratitude to Allah for the gift of life and for allowing him to reach another milestone.
Prompt News reports Quadri said he would begin his birthday at home with prayers before heading to a charity home to share love and give back to people in need. He also invited those who wish to celebrate with him to visit his home after the charity outreach.

“I am deeply grateful to Allah for the gift of life, for His protection, His mercy, and for bringing me to yet another beautiful milestone. My prayer is that Allah grants me long life, sound health, peace, prosperity, and a life filled with purpose and impact. Ameen.
“To my family, friends, fans, colleagues, and all my wonderful well-wishers who wish to celebrate with me, I sincerely appreciate your love, prayers, and goodwill. Rather than a conventional birthday celebration, I have chosen to dedicate today to prayers, charity, and gratitude.
“I will be at home from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for prayers. Afterwards, I will proceed to a charity home to share love and give back to those in need, before returning home.
