Filmmaker Seun Oloketuyi has petitioned the police to investigate and prosecute members of the Adedibu family over alleged cyberbullying, threats to life and criminal defamation following a dispute over a biopic on late Ibadan politician Lamidi Adedibu. The disagreement began after the release of Adedibu: Alagbara Ibadan, a film about the late politician’s life and career. The family accused the filmmakers of producing the biopic without their consent and portraying aspects of Adedibu’s private life and political history inaccurately.
