Boluwatife Balogun, widely known as Champz and the 14-year-old son of global music star Wizkid, has set a new milestone as the youngest Nigerian musician to exceed one million monthly listeners on Spotify.
The young rapper achieved this feat following the release of his debut EP, “Champion’s Arrival,” which has quickly captured the attention of fans and industry observers alike.
The five-track project, a mix of rap, afro-swing, and Afrobeats, has already climbed to the top of Apple Music Nigeria’s Top Albums chart. Beyond Nigeria, the EP has charted in 16 countries on Apple Music and reached No. 71 on the UK Apple Music Top Albums list.

Champz’s mother, Sola Ogudu, shared her appreciation for fans’ support of her son’s budding career, while Wizkid himself praised Champz’s talent and expressed his admiration for the EP.
