Fulham head coach Marco Silva says there have been no talks over Samuel Chukwueze’s future at the club, Prompt News reports
Chukwueze linked up with the West London club from AC Milan on a season-long loan on the last day of the summer transfer window.
The deal include an option to buy for between €22-€26m.
After a promising but injury-hit start to life in west London, the winger announced himself to the Premier League on Tuesday with two goals off the bench as Fulham nearly came back from 5-1 down against Manchester City.
The Nigeria international has added a different dimension to Fulham’s attack this season, and calls for the club to make his deal permanent next summer have intensified.
Silva however stated that they are not in hurry to do the deal.
“No talks. We have protected ourselves with the deal. He’s been very good for us; let’s hope he can do the same things in the next 1-2 games. We have an option with him,” Silva said in his pre-match press conference on Friday.
