Actress Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, has given fans a glimpse into her lavish wedding celebrations with Nigerian singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Iceland in August. The engagement was first announced in April 2022, when Temi shared a video of the proposal on Instagram, also hinting at plans for an intimate wedding.
Temi, now Temiloluwa Ajibade, marked her new chapter by updating her social media on Friday with the caption: “Mr and Mrs Ajibade. Now on voguemagazine.”
The couple’s celebrations spanned three countries: a wedding in Monaco on May 9, which coincided with the late birthday of Mr Eazi’s mother; a Yoruba traditional ceremony at the Otedola family home in Dubai two months later; and the final white wedding in Iceland in August.
Vogue Magazine, which shared 99 photos from the events, recounted how Temi and Mr Eazi first met in London in January 2017 when the singer attended a performance by Temi’s sister, Florence. The proposal came five years later, culminating in the multi-location celebrations.

Speaking to The Office Magazine, Mr Eazi explained how Nigerian culture influenced their ceremonies.
“We brought Nigeria to Dubai in Temi’s family home. All the food, the officiant (the Alaga), and the attire of staff, guests, and performers were traditional Yoruba. The band was the legendary King Sunny Ade, and all the food was Nigerian,” he said.
He added, “Our outfits included Yoruba wedding attire, and we also wore Iseleuku attire to honor my late mother’s Ibo heritage. The event felt just like a wedding in Lagos.”
Reflecting on the impact of the weddings on his music, Mr Eazi said, “I want to create more love songs, stripped-back acoustic tracks I can perform at future Nigerian weddings.”
He also shared a particularly memorable moment, saying, “It was surreal seeing Temi and I get married in Dubai with close friends and family present. I’ll never forget when she described me, calling all my names including the special one my mum loved.
“Also, just before she walked into the church, the organist played my mother’s favorite hymn. As she entered, the cloudy sky turned sunny—it was truly magical.”
The couple’s celebrations highlight their love story while showcasing a blend of Nigerian culture and international elegance, giving fans a glimpse into their unique journey to marital bliss.
