Former P-Square manager and music executive, Jude Okoye, has responded to allegations of financial misconduct and royalty diversion made by his younger brother, Peter Okoye, describing the claims as untrue.
In a video shared on Sunday, Jude said all royalty payments and financial distributions were made in line with existing agreements and backed by proper documentation.
Addressing claims that more than $1.2 million in royalties had been diverted, he noted that the allegations had already been investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and that the matter is now before a court.
According to Jude, “allegations that Peter was removed as a signatory to company bank accounts or denied access to royalty records are false.”
He added that bank statements, financial records and other digital evidence had already been presented before the court as part of the ongoing legal proceedings.
