Reality TV star and media personality Tolanibaj has disclosed that she is considering freezing her eggs, saying she wants to keep her options open rather than risk future regrets.
The former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate shared the revelation in a recent vlog, where she documented her annual women’s health check-up and spoke about her reproductive health plans.
Tolanibaj, whose real name is Tolani Shobajo, explained that although she visited her gynaecologist for a routine pap smear and cervical screening, she also used the appointment to learn more about the egg-freezing process.
“I want to freeze my eggs because I would rather have options than regrets in the future. I realised that I needed more information about the process, so I booked an appointment with my gynaecologist at One Wellness Centre,” she said.
She, however, clarified that she has no immediate plans to undergo the procedure.
“I am not freezing my eggs now, but I will maybe next year or in two years.”
The 32-year-old said she believes it is important to understand the process before making such a life-changing decision and hopes to proceed when the time feels right.

She also encouraged women to prioritise regular medical check-ups instead of waiting until health concerns arise.
“Ladies, this is your reminder not to wait until something feels wrong before seeing your gynaecologist,” she added.
Prompt News reports Tolanibaj rose to prominence after featuring in the 2020 edition of Big Brother Naija. She later returned for the BBNaija All Stars season in 2023 and has since established herself as a DJ, content creator, entrepreneur and media personality.
