Fashion entrepreneur Toyin Lawani has criticised music executive Jude Okoye over comments he made in a recent video about his younger brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye, amid their renewed family dispute.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, Lawani questioned why a brother would publicly compare the progress of his siblings, describing Jude’s remarks as inappropriate.
Sharing the video, in which Jude allegedly said “Paul is going up, Peter is going down,” Lawani condemned the statement.
She wrote, “Please which kind of brother talks like this in the first place??? Saying one is going up and one is going down.
“AGBAYA OSHI. Does it look like Peter is going down? I don’t even care what happened between all the siblings, but no brother should ever speak about each other this way. All this proves what @peterpsquare been saying since.”
Prompt News reports Lawani also noted that people close to the Okoye family have largely avoided taking sides throughout the brothers’ long-running disagreements.
She suggested that the trio should move on separately rather than continue their public clashes.
“Over the years friends and family have tried not to take sides in this issue.
“Even to the point that Peter’s wife gets dragged unprovoked, yet she keeps mute. I beg to do Psquare no be by force. Let everyone go their separate ways. At times people suffer in the name of ‘we are family’,” she added.

The latest reaction comes amid a fresh round of accusations between the former Psquare members and their elder brother.
Last week, Peter Okoye alleged that Jude excluded him from part of the proceeds generated from the group’s music catalogue, including a payment of $25,000. He also claimed he was not a signatory to one of the bank accounts used to receive the group’s royalties.
Jude, however, denied any wrongdoing, maintaining that all earnings from the group’s music were shared equally among the three brothers.
The feud has also drawn reactions from Jude’s wife, Ify Okoye, who recently said she would not “trade accusations or fuel public conflict” and would instead “let God be my witness.”
The Okoye brothers first split in 2017 over disagreements linked to Jude’s role as their manager. Although they reunited in 2021 and returned to the stage together, Paul later confirmed in 2024 that the group had broken up again, leading to fresh public exchanges and allegations among the siblings.
