Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has fired back at social media critic VeryDarkMan after he mocked her over a recently leaked gym photo.
The critic had posted a lengthy video, offering N500,000 to whoever took the photo while ridiculing the actress for what he described as hypocrisy.
Reacting on her Instagram Story, Nkechi accused VeryDarkMan and his followers of trying to push her into depression. In a series of fiery posts, she dismissed the critic and his supporters as “rats,” “nuisances,” and “swines,” urging them to stop using her name for attention.
She ridiculed VeryDarkMan’s attempts to provoke her, insisting she would not be intimidated and warning of spiritual consequences for those she called trolls. She also emphasized that it was preferable for her “belly” to trend rather than her private parts and criticized her detractors for ignoring the circumstances that sparked her reaction.

Nkechi insisted that she had previously given VeryDarkMan relevance but would no longer do so, repeatedly telling him to “avoid me” and threatening the so-called “RATS gang” with “thunder.”
Framing her response around two key points, Nkechi stressed that online trolls often highlight reactions while ignoring context, and that she would no longer tolerate repeated public attacks. She also addressed those who had previously targeted her, vowing not to let selective outrage dictate her image.
She wrote in part: “Shameless preek seller sef want talk no worry you go do more videos soon!!! Atleast na my belle Dey trend not my private part… Thief! And d so called RATS, ask una president who give am.
