Veteran Nollywood actress, Bukky Wright, has shared a deeply personal account of her struggles in marriage and early motherhood, revealing how she was separated from her children at a young age.
Speaking as a panellist at a recent event, the actress explained that her children were taken away from her after she married into a wealthy family, who reportedly doubted her future and potential.
According to her, her in-laws did not believe she would achieve anything significant in life or rise to fame in the entertainment industry.
Prompt News reports Bukky Wright further disclosed that her journey into acting was not initially driven by ambition for stardom, but by a desire to reconnect with her children in the future.

“My children were taken away from me when they were young because I married into a very wealthy family, and they did not believe I would amount to anything in life. I never even thought of becoming a star. I started acting so that when my children grow up, they would at least know where to find me”.
