Renowned Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has added another milestone to her career, receiving her third Guinness World Record certificate after her latest achievement was officially confirmed in January.
In a heartfelt Instagram video shared on Friday, Baci expressed her gratitude and reflected on the journey that led to the recognition.
“Third time. Not because I planned it. Not because I felt ready. But because God allowed it,” she said.
“Unboxing this record pack felt like reliving the moment all over again. The nerves. The faith. The sacrifice. The prayers. The belief that something bigger than me was happening.
“I don’t take this lightly. I don’t get used to it. I’m just deeply grateful. Thank you to everyone who has stood by me from the very first ‘let’s try’ to this third ‘officially amazing.’”
The latest Guinness World Record was awarded after Baci, in partnership with food brand Gino Nigeria, prepared the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice in 2025. The feat was recognised not only as the largest jollof rice serving but also as the largest serving of rice ever recorded.
