Omotayo Sanusi, popularly known as Iyan Aladuke and estranged wife of actor Femi Adebayo, has responded to claims made by a family member in a national newspaper regarding her eviction from a Lagos property.
The family member had stated that Sanusi was aware of the circumstances surrounding the eviction, explaining that it was the result of a bank foreclosure on a property purchased by Adebayo through a loan. According to the report, after the bank initiated the foreclosure, Adebayo allegedly ensured that Sanusi, her family, and staff were relocated to a short-let apartment, which he reportedly paid for in full.
Reacting to the statement, Iyan Aladuke said she had intended to keep her struggles private but felt compelled to speak out.
“I’m going through a tough time and really didn’t want to air it on social media, but here I am. Last year, I was bashed and falsely accused, but thank God for the good people around me who stood by me. Now it seems the tables have turned—what was meant to disgrace me has turned to glory. The lies are falling apart, and people are seeing the true character,” she said.
She further criticised Adebayo over the eviction, alleging that armed men were involved and her aged mother was put in danger.
“What did you expect when you took almost 20 armed men to a public place to evict people? Of course, the news would spread! You started it, keep fueling. My aged mother was thrown out with a G*n, knowing fully well she’ll be there as she comes around to help me with my child! Who are you to talk to me about God! You don’t know God! You only put up the act,” she stated.

Prompt News reports Sanusi also addressed claims about Adebayo’s involvement in their son’s life, accusing him of staging appearances for public attention.
“You always want to silence me by targeting my reputation. I’m done keeping quiet! You can’t silence me anymore! The desperation to save your name, you don’t care who goes down! I’m not going down with your lies! Whoever published those false narratives in Punch Newspapers should retract them. I’m only quiet because of my son—please don’t push me! You staged a visit to his school on Wednesday after being absent for a whole year, even when your office is just a few minutes’ walk from home! You took a picture to garnish your image, watched us thrown out of my marital home on Friday, and now published the visit in Punch. I knew what was coming the moment I was told of your impromptu visit and picture play,” she added.
