Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has sparked controversy after she criticised supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the rising insecurity in the country.
In a post shared on her Instagram story, the actress made a strong statement linking the president’s supporters to criminal activity, urging them to reflect on their conscience.
“Every supporter of Tinubu is a kidnapper, killer, beheader, and corrupt individual. Deal with your conscience”.
Prompt News reports her comments come amid growing public outrage over recent violent incidents in parts of the country, including the killing of an Oyo State teacher and the abduction of pupils in the state.

Just days earlier, Jegede had expressed sadness over reports of insecurity in Oyo State, lamenting what she described as a lack of collective outcry over the situation.
Her reaction also followed the commemoration of Children’s Day on May 27, which was overshadowed by grief over the reported abduction of 46 children in Oyo State.
