Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Phyna, has reacted to reports surrounding the death of relationship therapist Blessing CEO’s son.
Phyna questioned the circumstances of the reported death, saying Blessing CEO would need to provide evidence before she could believe the claim and offer her condolences.
In a video shared online, the reality TV star referred to Blessing’s alleged history of making false claims and expressed doubts over the report.
“Blessing CEO, how do you want us to believe you lost your child? How can we sympathise with you? You will need to post the dead body. I can’t waste my condolences. This is why it is not good to lie too much”.
The controversy followed reports on Friday evening that Blessing CEO had allegedly lost her second son while she was being remanded in prison.
The report was later said to have been confirmed by the CEO of the Isaamira Love Foundation, who reportedly appealed to the public for financial support on Blessing’s behalf.

However, in a video call with actress Doris Ogala, Blessing CEO reportedly distanced herself from the fundraising effort.
She issued a disclaimer, stating that she had not authorised anyone to solicit money on her behalf and that she would be the one to officially announce the death of her son.
Prompt News reports Phyna’s reaction has since added another layer to the controversy surrounding the reports, with the reality star maintaining that she would not offer her condolences until she was convinced that the claim was genuine.
