Henry Okoye, the elder brother of former Psquare members Peter and Paul Okoye, has made fresh allegations against Jude Okoye amid the renewed crisis within the family.
Speaking in an interview with Nollyserve published on YouTube on Friday, Henry accused Jude, who previously managed Psquare, of contributing significantly to the breakdown of relationships within the family.
Henry also challenged the claim that Jude was responsible for building Psquare’s career, insisting that family members had supported Peter and Paul financially and otherwise before Jude became involved.
He recalled travelling with the twins to different states for performances and providing resources for their early promotional activities.
“When they started this music, they were looking for sponsors. They didn’t get a sponsor. When I started sponsoring them, Jude was not there.
“We would travel from state to state for music. They used my car for flyers. I did bodyguard with them. We were supporting them as a family, but we knew it was Peter and Paul that owned it,” he said.
According to Henry, Jude later joined the group after the twins had begun gaining recognition, despite their mother’s initial reservations.
“Before you could know it, Jude came in. We wanted to allow Jude to manage them, but my mum disagreed. She said she knew the kind of character Jude had,” he alleged.
He claimed that the relationship between the twins and other family members deteriorated after Jude became their manager.
“What happened at last is that they started running away from everybody. We never knew that it was Jude that was causing the problem.”
Prompt News reports Henry further alleged that he was promised 20 per cent from the group’s performances because of his early contributions, but claimed he never received the money.
“Before they started all these things going on, they promised me 20% in each show, but nobody has given me.
“Before I knew it, Jude said, ‘What do I mean by 20%? For what?’ He said they are flying all around, that what if they have a plane crash, I’ll be enjoying myself. I told him that he wasn’t there when we started, but he came now and is trying to chase everybody away, including Tony, P-Square’s immediate elder brother who was one of their dancers.”
Henry also alleged that he had been estranged from Jude for up to two years, claiming that the former Psquare manager did not check on him during a prolonged hospitalisation.
“Almost a year to two years, I’m not talking to Jude. He doesn’t talk to me,” he said.

“I was admitted into the hospital for two months. Peter used to call me. Paul used to call me. Jude never called me once to know how I’m feeling. He doesn’t care for anybody. My sister is suffering in Lagos, our last born, but nobody cares about her. Peter is trying.”
Speaking about Paul, Henry said he was surprised by what he described as a major change in the singer’s attitude towards the family.
“In our family, Paul was the nicest person before, but the way he changed, I’m surprised. I don’t know how to put it. I don’t know if Jude used any… on Paul; I cannot tell,” he said.
Henry expressed his desire to see Peter and Paul reconcile but questioned whether the brothers could reunite given what he described as Jude’s influence over their relationship.
“I’ll be happy for them to come back together, but the problem I’m having is that I don’t think they’ll come back because Jude has made all of us become enemies. If you want to talk to Peter and Paul, they’ll tell you to go and meet Jude. If Jude says no, that is it,” he lamented.
His comments come amid renewed tensions among the Okoye brothers, with Peter recently releasing a series of videos in which he made several allegations against Jude, including claims concerning finances and threats.
Peter has also disputed suggestions that Jude was solely responsible for Psquare’s rise, maintaining that Henry played an important role in supporting the twins during their formative years.
