Nigerian music continues to make waves globally, as several Afrobeats stars have secured nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards.
The Recording Academy revealed the official list of nominees on Friday, highlighting the growing influence of Nigerian artists on the international stage.
Davido and Omah Lay earned a nomination in the Best African Music Performance category for their hit collaboration “With You.” They will face stiff competition from Burna Boy’s “Love” and the track “Gimme Dat” by Ayra Starr featuring Wizkid.
Burna Boy, who has previously won a Grammy, also received a nod in the Best Global Music Album category for his project No Sign of Weakness, further cementing his status as a leading figure in global music.
