Afrobeats star Burna Boy and Colombian singer Shakira’s “Dai Dai”, the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has maintained its dominance on the Billboard charts.
Billboard announced on Tuesday that the track has remained at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 for a fifth consecutive week, while extending its reign on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart to eight weeks.
The American music publication described “Dai Dai” as the world’s biggest song, with the latest achievement coming about a month after the conclusion of the World Cup.
The tournament ended on July 19, 2026, with Spain defeating Argentina 1-0 in the final.
According to data from Luminate cited by Billboard, “Dai Dai” generated 44.1 million streams and 6,000 sales worldwide between July 7 and 13.
Prompt News reports the song also maintained its position at the top of the Global Excl. U.S. chart, where it first reached No. 1 in early July.
“It holds atop Global Excl. U.S., where it first reigned at the beginning of July, with 37.8 million streams (down 10%) and 4,000 sold (down 8%) outside the U.S,” Billboard said.
The track has also continued to make gains on American radio, climbing to No. 3 as the Greatest Gainer on the Rhythmic Airplay chart.
