Nigerian TikToker Peller has voiced his frustration after the Super Falcons failed to respond to his messages in the wake of their victorious campaign at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
The Super Falcons secured their 10th continental championship with a thrilling 3-2 comeback win against host nation Morocco in the final, held at Rabat’s Olympic Stadium. Despite trailing 2-0 early in the game, the Nigerian team rallied in the second half to lift the trophy.
To honour their success, President Bola Tinubu awarded each player $100,000, a three-bedroom apartment in the Renewed Hope Housing Scheme, and the national title of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).

Despite these generous rewards and celebrations, Peller disclosed that several players, including star forward Asisat Oshoala, have not replied to his recent messages.
He also revealed that plans for him to join the team in Morocco for streaming content never materialized.
During a recent livestream, Peller stated:
“I texted Asisat Oshoala since last two weeks she never replied, they’ve given them $100,000 dollars, all of the Super Falcons refused to reply my messages. If the money finishes I won’t reply, I would pride up. Even the Super Falcons, we were chatting together on Instagram that I’ll come to Morocco for streaming but you guys said it’s late, that when you get to Nigeria we would do it. Now you people won, since I said congratulations you people stopped replying. I don’t know, maybe your plan was if you guys had lost you wanted me to be the cheerleader to cheer you because now when you guys won and stopped replying, I even did voice note, no reply. We’ve been there together and now you guys stopped responding. Life is not so, they’ve used me.”
Peller’s comments highlight his disappointment over what he feels is a lack of appreciation and communication from the team following their historic win.
