Nollywood actor and producer Adeniyi Johnson has alerted the public over a scam involving an individual impersonating him online.
The actor shared a screenshot of a conversation allegedly sent by a man based in the United Kingdom, who was using his identity to contact people.
Johnson clarified that he has no connection with the individual and does not recognise the claims being made in his name. He also stressed that the phone number being used is not his, adding that he currently does not have a manager or personal assistant.
He urged the public to disregard any messages or business proposals coming from the scammer, warning fans and associates not to fall victim.
