Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly been taken into custody during a livestream on Saturday, December 20, 2025, while interacting with an online host.
During the broadcast, the host asked Ogala, “The police are in your house?”
She confirmed, saying, “Yes, the police are in my house.” She was also heard reprimanding a person identified as “Charity” for letting people into her home despite prior instructions. The host further inquired whether the officers had a warrant and advised her to keep her phone on and the livestream active.

Comedian and former Big Brother Naija contestant Dee One shared the development on Instagram, writing, “Doris Ogala has just been arrested. I tried to warn her; the allegations did not add up. Now she will have to defend her story in court. Everywhere good, my people.”
Prompt News reports the arrest follows a week of dramatic public claims by Ogala against Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Ministry.
She alleged that she had been in a long-term romantic relationship with the cleric since 2017 and that she ended a previous marriage at his request.
The tension intensified after Pastor Okafor recently wed his new wife, Pearl. Ogala has since filed a legal demand seeking ₦1 billion in damages for “breach of promise to marry” and hinted at releasing sensitive video content following a now-deleted post of a private photo.
