Afrobeats superstar Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, has advised upcoming musicians to remain committed to their faith and stay disciplined even after attaining fame, noting that success in the music industry comes with numerous distractions.
In an interview with Kiss Xtra, which began trending on Friday, the singer encouraged emerging artistes to believe in themselves, remain consistent, and continuously improve their craft.
Prompt News reports he said dedication, passion, and self-development were key factors behind his success in music.
“My advice for up-and-coming artistes is first of all, believe in yourself. I worked on my craft so much. I loved music so much that I just wanted to get better every time. When I was young, I was learning from YouTube and the people around me,” he said.
