Esther Okoronkwo is upbeat the Super Falcons can successfully defend their title at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Prompt News reports.
Justine Madugu’s side won a record-extending 10th title at the last edition of the competition in Morocco.
Nigeria booked a place at the WAFCON 2025 finals after a 3-1 aggregate win over Benin Republic’s Amazons.
Okoronkwo said the team’s main target now is to claim an 11th title in Morocco.
“Yes. With Nigeria, everything is possible for sure,” the AFC Toronto forward, known for her assists, told Channels Television’s Sports Tonight on Thursday.
“We’re not going there to not want to win or just go there for vibes. We want to win the 11th [WAFCON title] for sure.”
