The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has called on supporters to rally behind the Warriors ahead of their participation in the Unity Cup in London, Prompt News Online, reports.
Zimbabwe will face Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the semi-final at The Valley on Tuesday, May 26, with the winner set to take on either India or Jamaica in the final on Saturday, May 31.
Warriors head coach Kaitano Tembo unveiled a 24-man squad for the invitational tournament on Tuesday.
ZIFA also urged fans, particularly those in the diaspora, to show their support by wearing the national colours.
“A night of pride, passion and African football excellence awaits as Zimbabwe’s finest take centre stage in the UK,” ZIFA wrote on its X account.
“Diaspora family, this is your moment to rally behind the Warriors and paint The Valley in Zimbabwean colours.”
