Renowned talent manager Muyiwa Awoniyi has officially ended his professional relationship with Afrobeats star Omah Lay.
Awoniyi made the announcement on Friday through a short message posted on his X (formerly Twitter) page, where he confirmed that their management journey had come to a close.
“With love and respect, I am no longer managing @Omah_Lay,” he wrote.

Though brief, the statement made it clear that there’s no bad blood between the two, with Awoniyi describing the singer as his “brother” and offering sincere well wishes.
Muyiwa Awoniyi is widely known in the music industry for his role in shaping the careers of several artists, including Grammy winner Tems. He also previously managed Nigerian-Canadian singer Nonso Amadi.
