Nigerian-British rapper Speed Darlington has shared his opinion on older Nigerians relocating abroad, arguing that such a move is better suited to younger people.
In a video circulating on social media, the controversial entertainer questioned why individuals in their 50s would choose to leave Nigeria in search of opportunities overseas.
According to him, relocating at that stage of life may not be worthwhile because it could take years before the benefits of starting over become evident.
“Nigerians in their 50s have no business saying they’re relocating abroad. What are you going there to do? By the time you start seeing the rewards of your hustle, it is too late. Relocating abroad is mostly for young people in their 20s,” he said.
