Following their inability to arrive in Cairo on time to take part in today’s international friendly match against Pharaohs of Egypt,
Super Eagles’ top striker Victor Osimhen and England-based winger Samuel Chukwueze are among the four players cleared to fly straight to Morocco to link up with the team instead, Promp News reports.
Two other invitees who will travel straight to Morocco to join the rest of the players are France-based forward, Moses Simon, and Usman Mohammed, who could not link up with the team at their camp in Egypt.
Meanwhile, all 24 players in Egypt were involved in a light training session on Tuesday morning in preparation for the game later in the evening.
This is even as Super Eagles head coach Eric Sekou Chelle is expected to start the regulars in the match but will later give a chance to a host of new players in the game, where both countries are free to make more than the five substitutes permitted by world football governing body FIFA.
