Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has responded to recent criticisms in the music industry surrounding the alleged use of stream-farming, saying true artistry cannot be hidden by artificial numbers.
Taking to his X handle, the rapper made it clear that a genuinely good song will always stand out, regardless of any manipulation behind the scenes.
“Dear public, Do not let them deceive you. No matter how much a song is stream-farmed, if your song is good and the people love it, it will show. All this one na small pikin scopes and antics. Insecurities. Trynna prepare the table in incase you fail. Losers,” he wrote.

He accused some of his colleagues of projecting their fears and using the stream-farming conversation as a safety net for possible failure.
His remarks appear to counter recent comments made by artists Magixx and Blaqbonez, who both hinted at the possibility that some musicians are artificially inflating their streaming numbers. Magixx had previously raised questions about how certain songs rack up huge streams, while Blaqbonez also suggested that the numbers game may not be entirely organic.
Odumodublvck’s post has added another layer to the conversation, stressing that audience connection—not technical tricks—is what defines a successful track.
