Newly appointed Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle has promised to inject an attacking brand of football into the team.
In nine successive matches, since the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, the Super Eagles only won two matches by more than one goal margin.
Prompt News reports that Chelle is optimistic things will change for the better under his tutelage.
“I love scoring goals. My teams are never lacking in goals, and the Super Eagles will be no exception – we will score goals,” the Malian said.
The 47-year-old was unveiled at an elaborate ceremony at the media conference room of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Monday.
The young tactician will play a supervisory role at the upcoming 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
