Nigeria international Gift Orban has been crowned the Turkish Süper Lig’s Goal of the Month winner for September after his stunning strike for Amedspor.
Orban claimed the award for his superb long-range effort in Amedspor’s thrilling 3-2 home victory over Beşiktaş.
The 24-year-old fired an unstoppable shot into the net in the 13th minute to give Amedspor an early lead in the encounter.
Since joining Amedspor on a season-long loan from Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in July, Orban has enjoyed a remarkable start to his spell in Turkey.
The forward has found the net seven times and provided two assists in six league appearances for Besnik Hasi’s side.
His impressive scoring run has also seen him rise to the top of the league’s scoring charts, where he is currently level with Trabzonspor striker Mohamed Salah.
Amedspor currently lead the Süper Lig standings and will look to maintain their impressive form when they travel to face Gençlerbirliği on Saturday, October 10.
