Controversial critic VeryDarkMan has detailed the events leading to his recent arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), alleging that GTBank held him captive.
It is important to note that VeryDarkMan was released from EFCC custody on bail following widespread demands and protests for his freedom.
In a video shared online, he expressed his appreciation to the protesters, entertainment figures, and dignitaries who contributed to his release.
Reflecting on his experience with GTBank, VeryDarkMan disclosed that an investigation into his mother’s account revealed she had inadvertently taken out a loan of N200,000.
As he was leaving, a security officer confronted him and obstructed his exit, stating that he was unsure of the reason for the stop.
Additionally, VeryDarkMan announced his intention to pursue legal action against GTBank, questioning the rationale behind his detention and presenting evidence to support his allegations.
He recounted that as he was departing the bank in his vehicle, security personnel obstructed his path with their vehicles, discharged gunfire, and subsequently blindfolded him before forcibly transporting him in another vehicle.
