Leon Balogun has been declared fit for the second leg of Rangers’ UEFA Europa League quarter-final clash against Athletico Bilbao, Prompt News reports.
Balogun missed Rangers’ Scottish Premiership clash with Aberdeen last weekend due to a minor injury..
Interim head coach, Barry Ferguson has now confirmed he is back in training and fit for the clash with Ernesto Valverde’s side.
“It’s good news,” Ferguson told a press conference.
“Leon Balogun trained. Ridvan, Cerny, trained, and Rice all trained,” the gaffer told a press conference.
“So hopefully, when they wake up tomorrow, there’s been no issues and as I said, hopefully we’re going to be strong. Also, we’ve got John Souttar and Diomande back.”
The 30-year-old featured for 90 minutes in the first leg last week.
