Nigerian singer and music producer Timi Dakolo has cautioned social media users against ridiculing couples whose marriages are going through difficult times.
In a post shared on Tuesday, the 45-year-old artiste encouraged people with stable relationships to remain grateful rather than use their experiences as a basis for judging others.
He stressed that a successful marriage should be seen as a blessing rather than a standard for comparing or condemning others.
Dakolo also noted that every marriage comes with its own challenges, many of which are not visible to outsiders.
“Marriage no easy o, if your own Dey work. Thank God and enjoy am. No mock people wey Dey struggle with am. Love and light,” he wrote.
The singer, who married Busola Dakolo in 2012 and has three children, made the remarks amid ongoing public discussions about failed marriages involving celebrities.
His comments come as conversations continue around the separation of media personality Frank Edoho and Sandra Edoho, which has generated significant online debate.
The controversy surrounding the former couple escalated after Frank Edoho reportedly said he would not remain in a monogamous relationship again, following the collapse of their marriage in 2022.
Sandra later responded to the allegations, accusing him of infidelity and claiming he had relationships with multiple women during their marriage.

Prompt News reports Frank Edoho was previously married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang, with whom he shares three children, before their marriage ended in 2010.
He later married Sandra in 2013, and the union produced two children before their separation.
