Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Adeleke Davido, popularly known as Davido, has revealed plans for his debut festival, “Davido & Friends,” scheduled for Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Crystal Palace Bowl in South London.
Sharing the news on his X account on Monday, the OBO crooner wrote, “For the first time ever, I present to you… Davido & Friends Festival.
“It’s going down at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14th.”
The festival is part of the “Palace Bowl Presents” series, a curated summer lineup of outdoor events running from July 31 to August 16, 2026. Davido will headline and oversee the full-day program on August 14, with a lineup of collaborators and “friends” yet to be disclosed.
Prompt News reports this announcement follows the conclusion of Davido’s 2025 tour promoting his fifth studio album, 5IVE, which saw him perform across Africa and Europe. Cities on the tour included Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos, with shows running from October through December.
