Socialite Cubana Chief Priest has expressed joy following the release of the pupils and teachers who were abducted in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The victims regained their freedom after spending more than 50 days in captivity. They were kidnapped by armed men on May 15 while returning from school.
Prompt News reports the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed their release on Friday through a post on X, where he also shared photographs of the rescued pupils and teachers.
