Nigerian socialite and businessman, Cubana Chief Priest, has revealed that he has acquired a house in the United States, saying the property was purchased for the benefit of his children.
The celebrity barman shared the announcement on his social media page alongside a video of the newly acquired home.
Explaining the reason behind the investment, Cubana Chief Priest praised his friend, Chy Kenny, the CEO of Pennek Nigeria Limited, for expanding his real estate business from Nigeria to the United States.
Prompt News reports he also disclosed that although he has never travelled to the US, he decided to become a property owner there because his children are American citizens.
“My brother @iamchykenny, CEO @pennek.ng no follow others jakpa enter Yankee. Rather, he took his flourishing real estate business from Lagos, Nigeria to Houston, Texas.
“I’m so proud of his accomplishments. So I decided to key in for my children. I never go Yankee, but my next of kin na Yankee citizens,” he wrote.

His announcement quickly sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some users congratulating him while others questioned the purchase.
One user, @sonia201224, wrote, “Audio house. Person wey no gy US visa don buy house for US.”
Another, @olayimartha, commented, “Meanwhile him pikin for Helen house never chop.”
Offering congratulations, @manlikedavoh wrote, “Someone said hope he has been granted visa into the US. Big congrats to him.”
Also reacting, @kish_vic said, “Hellen cleaning her ring light to cry again.”
Another commenter, @mr_godson_world, added, “House wey he no go fit go.”
Despite the criticism, Cubana Chief Priest has not responded to the comments, choosing instead to celebrate what he described as an investment in his children’s future.
