Nigerian businessman and philanthropist Olakunle Churchill has addressed the controversy surrounding a viral billboard photo featuring himself, his ex-wife Tonto Dikeh, and their son.
The billboard, which was mounted at the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, surfaced online after Churchill shared a photo of it on his Instagram story in celebration of his first son. The display included images of Churchill, Dikeh, and their child, sparking widespread reactions on social media.
Following the post, many online users assumed Churchill personally sponsored the billboard, with some directing criticism and mockery at his current wife, Rosy Meurer.
However, Churchill has now clarified that he was not responsible for erecting the billboard. According to him, the gesture was arranged by a friend as a birthday surprise for his son.
