Nigerian singer Chike has stirred conversations online after sharing a cryptic message on social media while facing speculation surrounding his name.
The controversy began after unverified reports circulated online alleging that the music star was involved in an affair with Sandra Edoho, the estranged wife of media personality Frank Edoho.
Frank Edoho had previously revealed that his second marriage ended in December 2022, describing the experience as “devastating.” The television host also recently stated that he no longer believes in committing to one woman and said he was gradually healing from the failed union.
After news of the separation became public, rumours emerged on social media claiming Sandra allegedly cheated with a Nigerian singer. Although no individual was directly named, online speculation later linked Chike to the allegations, triggering widespread reactions across social platforms.
Amid the ongoing discussions, Chike posted a short message on his X account on Sunday, writing: “Pity my soul”.
The singer did not provide any explanation for the statement, leaving many fans wondering whether it was connected to the controversy or simply a personal reflection.

Prompt News reports Chike rose to prominence after participating in Project Fame in 2015 before finishing as first runner-up on The Voice Nigeria in 2016. He later released his debut single, ‘Fancy’, and has since become known for his soulful sound and romantic-themed music.
Beyond music, the 33-year-old entertainer has also ventured into acting, featuring in productions such as ‘Gangs of Lagos’ and ‘Battleground’.
