Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus is celebrating her birthday with a heartfelt reflection on her battle with a brain tumour, a challenge that nearly took her life.
In a detailed Instagram post, the actress shared how her health struggle began in 2022, describing the diagnosis as a shock that “took all I ever worked for and almost took my life.” She emphasized that the experience is one she would never wish on anyone, not even her worst enemy.
Expressing deep gratitude to God, Bisola wrote: “OWO RE NI MO RI, IGBA TI AYE DANMIWO OWO RE NI MO RI… ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THANK YOU, AGBANILAGBATAN.”
She recounted how the trying period strengthened her faith, adding: “When life challenges came God proved himself to me in many ways… my GOD SAID NO, DO NOT TOUCH MY ANNOITED AND DO MY PROPHET NO HARM.”

Badmus explained that she initially dismissed her symptoms, only to learn later that she had a brain tumour. “If not for GOD it almost took my life but ALHAMDULILLAH ROBILHALEMIN… this is not an experience I will ever wish anyone not even my enemy,” she said.
Now fully recovered, the actress is celebrating her health and the chance to see another year of life. She described herself as “hale and hearty” and thanked those who supported her during the ordeal: “A lot went down the drain, but we thank God for his infinite mercy and intervention.”
Special recognition was given to her son, Abdul Malik, who she said showed remarkable strength throughout her illness: “Thank you for showing me how much I mean to you… IKU OJIJI KONI GBA E MOMI LOWO ABDUL MALIK.”
Bisola concluded her message by calling on fans to celebrate life and God’s mercy alongside her: “I’M A LIVING TESTIMONY OF WHAT GOD CAN NOT DO DOES NOT EXIST… HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, ABISOLA ADUNNI ADUNBARINMATOSHI ENI O.”
