Anu Adeleke, the teenage girl who claims to be the daughter of music star Davido, has issued a strong response to the singer following his public denial of paternity and comments about DNA test results.
Earlier, Anu had taken to Instagram to request a DNA test to confirm her identity, opening up about the emotional toll she has endured. She said she had faced intense bullying and mental distress, with classmates mocking her claim of being Davido’s daughter.
In his reaction, Davido dismissed her claim, stating that multiple DNA tests had already been conducted and all returned negative. The singer said he had participated in five DNA tests, three at hospitals he selected and two chosen by Anu’s representatives, insisting that every result showed he was not her father. He also expressed frustration over the ongoing claims and warned that he would take action against Anu’s mother, whom he said should be held accountable.
Responding to Davido’s statement, Anu said she was deeply hurt by what she described as verbal attacks, bullying, and threats directed at both her and her mother. She accused the singer of spreading false information and questioned the credibility of the DNA tests he referenced.
She wrote, “Dear Nigerians: My dad, Mr David Adeleke, replied to me earlier this evening. I was devastated by the way he cursed me out, bullied me, and threatened to lock my mother up simply because I wanted to establish my identity.”
Anu further challenged Davido’s claim of multiple DNA tests, saying his account had changed over time. “He also tweeted to the WORLD, calling my mom a ‘bitch’ he never met, yet claiming he now had 5 (FIVE) DNA tests with me. First, it was two; now, it’s 5. He even said the last one was on my 10th birthday.”

According to her, only one DNA test was ever conducted, and she alleged that it was not legitimate. “According to my mom, we only went for one test, which Chief Dr Deji Adeleke took us to, and it was FAKE, as posted in her statement pinned at the top of this page.”
Prompt News reports Anu thanked those who supported her during the ordeal and said further details would be shared. “I thank everyone who supported me emotionally this morning, including the media. My mom will post the chat later.”
She concluded by clarifying her mother’s position on the matter, stating, “My mother has moved on and does not appreciate this false information.”
