Nigeria’s D’Tigers outclassed holders Tunisia 87-66 in their second group game at the 2025 Men’s AfroBasket on Friday, Prompt News reports.
They made a great start by establishing a 13-point lead, 29-16 in the first quarter.
D’Tigers opened a a 15 point lead at the end of the second quarter 48-33.
Josh Okogie was the star of the show as Nigeria maintained their dominance with a 68-47 lead in the third quarter.
Nigeria completed the win in the fourth quarter with an emphatic 87-66 win.
Mohammed Abdulrahman’s side will face Cameroon in their last group game on Sunday.
The former champions have already booked a place in the quarter-finals.
