Nigerian singer Damilola Afolabi, better known as L.A.X, has officially married his partner, Ella, in a ceremony held in Malta.
The singer shared the news with his fans on Instagram on Wednesday, announcing that the couple had formalised their union in the European country.
Prompt News reports L.A.X expressed his happiness over the occasion while describing Malta as the most beautiful city and revealing that the location had become special to both of them.
“Legally hitched to the love of my life, in the most beautiful city. Malta, you have our hearts.”
The wedding comes several months after the singer and Ella got engaged on January 16, 2026.
L.A.X’s journey into music began during his secondary school years when he performed as a rapper with a group known as Flyboiz. He later pursued a solo career and went on to establish himself within the Nigerian music scene.
His major breakthrough came in 2013 following the release of ‘Caro’, a collaboration with Afrobeats star Wizkid under Starboy Entertainment.
The song became a major hit and earned a nomination for Hottest Single of the Year at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
