Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has accused her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, of preventing her from seeing their children, describing the separation as deeply painful.
In an Instagram post, Daniels shared a video call with her sons, revealing that the last time she spoke to them was in mid-November. She expressed how difficult it has been to cope with the separation, noting that appearances of happiness do not reflect her true feelings.
“People may believe that I am happy, but no mother can be at peace while separated from her children. I chose not to allow that pain to define or imprison me, which is why it took time for me to walk away,” she wrote.
The actress criticised Nwoko for frequently posting their children online, suggesting that his actions were aimed at attracting negative attention rather than prioritising their welfare. She questioned his motives as a public figure and former legislator, highlighting the media scrutiny such posts inevitably invite.
“The repeated public exposure of my children reflects a troubling and deliberate pursuit of negative attention by their father. It is implausible that a public figure, particularly one with legislative experience, would be unaware that posting our children publicly at this time would inevitably attract media scrutiny,” Daniels said.
She further alleged that Nwoko had dismissed all her nannies, pressured them into making false claims accusing her of violence and alcohol abuse, and filed for full custody of the children despite already having them in his care.
