Valencia manager Carlos Corberán singled out Umar Sadiq for praises after his side’s thrilling 3-3 draw against Osasuna on Sunday.
The Nigeria international grabbed a brace for Valencia in the keenly contested encounter.
The lanky striker scored Los Ches second and third goal of the game.
The 27-year-old has now registered three goals in six league appearances for the former UEFA Europa League champions.
“Sadiq arrived very committed and eager to work,” Corberán said after the game.
“We are going to give him the confidence he needs to continue helping the team.”
The forward joined Valencia on loan from Real Sociedad in January.
