Nigeria’s Flamingos will depart for Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire on Wednesday ahead of their 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Guinea, Prompt News Online reports.
Thirty-six players are currently in camp, although the squad is expected to be trimmed before the trip to Abidjan.
The team arrived in Ikenne last Sunday to begin the final phase of preparations for the clash against the Guineans.
Akeem Busari’s side underlined their readiness with a convincing 5-0 victory over Lakeside Queens FA in a friendly match played in Ikenne last Thursday.
Guinea will host the first leg of the second qualifying round tie at their adopted home ground in Abidjan on Saturday.
The return leg will take place at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, on Saturday, May 30.
