Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa has addressed speculation regarding the religion of her baby daddy, putting to rest rumors that he is a Muslim.
The former OAP, who welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Yakira Eliana, at the age of 40, had recently given fans a tour of her daughter’s pink-themed nursery.
During the Instagram tour, a fan commented, expressing curiosity about the child’s father due to Yakira’s name. “I think Yakira’s dad is a Muslim,” the fan wrote.

Toke quickly responded to clarify, explaining that her daughter’s name is of Hebrew origin and not indicative of her father’s religion. She wrote, “He is not. Yakira is a Hebrew name. Beloved, precious and someone of great worth.”
Her response has since attracted attention, as fans praised her for setting the record straight while sharing the beautiful meaning behind her daughter’s name.
