Nigerian music star Zlatan, whose real name is Omoniyi Raphael, and his partner, Davita Lamai, are set to hold their wedding on October 24, 2026.
The couple announced the date on Thursday night through a video posted on Instagram, simply captioned, “24 October 2026”.
The video, designed as a “Save the Date” announcement, features one of their children speaking about the relationship between the singer and Lamai.
“When I think about love, I think about my mommy and daddy,” the child says in the clip.
The announcement has brought attention to the couple’s relationship, which has largely remained private despite Zlatan’s prominence in the Nigerian music industry.
In July, the pair reportedly shared news of their wedding plans with friends and colleagues while on their way to the wedding of businessman and music executive Soso Soberekon.
Prompt News reports the latest announcement also follows reports that the singer and Lamai had previously held a private civil ceremony.
