American rapper Offset has been hospitalised after sustaining injuries in a shooting incident outside a casino in Florida.
The 34-year-old artiste, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was reportedly shot on Monday evening near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood for treatment.
A representative for the rapper confirmed that he is currently in stable condition.
“We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored,” the representative said.
Authorities also confirmed the incident, stating that the shooting occurred in a valet area and resulted in non-life-threatening injuries. Two individuals have reportedly been detained in connection with the case.
“We responded to an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood,” the police said.

“The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”
Offset, who is the estranged partner of Cardi B, gained prominence as a member of the hip-hop group Migos, alongside Quavo and Takeoff.
Tragedy previously struck the group in November 2022 when Takeoff, born Kirsnick Khari Ball, was shot dead outside a bowling alley in Houston.
A suspect, Patrick Xavier Clark, was later charged with murder and is expected to stand trial in November 2026.
