Controversial street-pop artist Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable has asked the EFCC and GTBank to release his friend VeryDarkMan, whom he calls generous.
In a video on X (formerly Twitter), Portable said that despite their disagreements, he appreciates VeryDarkMan’s kindness and support for others.
This request comes after VeryDarkMan was arrested outside a GTBank branch shortly after visiting.
The reason for his arrest is still unknown, but many believe it is related to his bank visit.
Portable pleaded with the EFCC, saying, “Please, because of God. Please free VeryDarkMan, he is my friend. He gives people food, he helps a lot of people. I love people who help people.”
He also encouraged Nigerians not to withdraw their money from GTBank.
“Don’t remove your money from GTBank.”
The video has received mixed reactions online, with many sharing their thoughts in the comments.
