This marks Olamide’s 11th solo album—a project that showcases his enduring presence and adaptability in the ever-evolving music scene.
Ahead of the album’s debut, Olamide rolled out two singles: ‘Kai’, which features Wizkid, and ‘99’, which includes contributions from Asake, Seyi Vibez, Young Jonn, and Daecolm. ‘99’ stands out as the latest in a long-running collaboration between Olamide and Wizkid, a creative relationship spanning more than ten years.
The new body of work follows his previous album, Ikigai—a project inspired by the Japanese concept meaning “a reason to live”—which included standout tracks like ‘Metaverse’, ‘Habibi’, and ‘Uptown Disco’ featuring Fireboy and Asake.
With a career spanning over a decade, Olamide continues to hold his place as one of the most influential figures in Nigerian music. As the head of YBNL, he has nurtured talents such as Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy, and Asake.
His latest album adds another chapter to a legacy defined by consistency, innovation, and hit-making prowess.
