Nigerian actress and reality TV personality Beverly Osu has opened up about what she describes as years of being underpaid in the entertainment industry, saying her body of work should have already made her a billionaire.
The movie star explained that despite building a strong portfolio across several areas of entertainment, her earnings have not reflected the effort she has put into her career. According to her, the experience has pushed her to start advocating for better pay within the industry.
Speaking during a recent episode of the Ghacha’s Chough podcast, Osu said she believes the scale of her work should have brought her far greater financial success.
“I have worked so hard, my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire not just in Nigeria but in Africa,” she said.
The actress added that while she considers herself humble, she is confident about the value of her contributions to the industry.
“I am a very humble person but I know that my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire,” she said.
